This Blog will give you all the details you need to know about Qualcomm and you would get how it’s better than Predecessor? Qualcomm on Tuesday announced its new flagship Snapdragon 865 mobile platform, besides that Qualcomm also declared Snapdragon 765 and Snapdragon 765G SoCs. But in spite of that, not all detail was shared in Tech Summit 2019.

Subsequently, Qualcomm conferred more features about SoCs, what both have? For instance, the type of CPU and GPU, Graphics Performance. SoCs support features like higher refresh rate displays and 10-bit HDR rendering for more vivid colours.

It’s enough to say that Snapdragon 865 is going to be a great choice for mobile gamers. Snapdragon is nevertheless a few months far. but you should wait for it if you keen to buy Smartphones. The Company Said, “It will extend the way people see, hear, and interact with the world around them”.Snapdragon 865

Devices based on all three SoCs might be expected to available in the Market from the First Quarter of 2020. That means it would be seeing in a lot of smartphones announced during MWC (Mobile World Congress) in February. So 2020 might be more excited for those, whose love Smartphones whether he keens to gaming experience or Internet Speed. Let’s not waste your time, we jumped directly into Specification about them.

Xiaomi claimed that its first flagship based on Snapdragon 855 in 2020. Another hand Samsung also did. you would be seen in nest year, Smartphones vendors compete to launched their Flagships Phones. Even so, not everyone is willing to pay the 5G premium yet. In times to come, only Snapdragon 765 offering 5G at a more affordable price segment. I strongly feel that more large-scale of flagships will support sub-6GHz 5G for global networks this year.

Snapdragon 865 Overview

5G Speed

5G will certainly be more common in 2020 but it seems to be difficult for India. If I had to take a guess, after the plan of making India Digital by Govt, it might be possible to fast growth or availability of 5G Networks.

The X55 supports both 4G and 5G networks. It can reach download speeds of up to 7.5Gbps on 5G and their upload Speed of up to 3 Gbps. It also supports both Standalone and Non-Standalone 5G networks, as well as sub-6 and mmWave frequencies.

There’s Wi-Fi 6 onboard along with Bluetooth 5.1 for wireless connections. With the Hexagon 698 and a Tensor accelerator, Qualcomm says the new AI engine offers double the performance over the Snapdragon 855.

This SoC uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X55 modem, which is touted to be a global 5G modem with support for all key regions and bands including mmWave and sub-6GHz in both TDD and FDD frequencies.

The Snapdragon 865 SoC is said to be compatible with both NSA (Non-Standalone) and SA (Standalone) modes, along with Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS). The latter technology allows operators to scale their existing 4G networks, to 5G by sharing the current 4G bands.

The Snapdragon 865 also features Qualcomm’s FastConnect 6800 mobile connectivity subsystem, which includes support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1; Super Wide Band voice over Bluetooth and TrueWireless Stereo Plus which can connect to each truly wireless earbud independently for a more stable connection.

Photography

Most of us believe that it has only a 5G modem. However, it not only as a 5G-first platform but also it will offer faster graphics performance and support higher resolution cameras and proficient to capture 200-megapixel photos. Capture 8K video, and shoot 960 fps slow-motion video at 720p resolution That sounds great, right?

You would get great realistic images that will make your photography glorify. This only because of the Spectra 480 ISP, that can support up to a 200-megapixel main camera or a 64-megapixel camera with zero shutter lag. It’s faster– it can process 2 Gigapixels per second. This Gigapixel speed delivers new camera features including Dolby Vision video capture.

It will have an improved AI engine than the Predecessor. Meanwhile, the Snapdragon 765 and 765G are also said to offer enhanced capabilities such as HDR10 4K video recording, support for up to 192-megapixel camera sensors, and simultaneously capture 4K HDR video and 64 MP photos.

AI (Artificial Intelligence)

The brand-new Qualcomm® Hexagon™ Tensor Accelerator, it pushes 15TOPS (trillion operations per second) with maximum efficiency. Getting tangle, right? Ok, it’s too boring, we will make it Simple. Let’s jumped to it.

We already know about “AI” for a wide range of tasks, as on-device voice recognition, as google lens camera product searches and photo enhancements. With more processing power comes the ability to perform even more advanced imaging and voice techniques, without draining your phone’s battery too quickly.

This brilliant machine fuels intuitive mobile experiences in photography, gaming, and voice interactions such as real-time AI translation.

Performance

The Qualcomm® Kryo™ 585 CPU provides 25% faster performance to a power dynamic, process-intensive experiences with incredible efficiency and superior battery life throughout the day as it uses the newer ARM Cortex-A77 cores Plus, Qualcomm® Quick Charge™ AI technology checks battery health and safety to help extend battery life cycles up to 200 days.

The Adreno 650 GPU now supports up to 144Hz refresh rate screens with up to QHD+ resolution. It also supports for LPDDR5 memory. Qualcomm also announced its next-generation ultrasonic fingerprint sensor technology called 3D Sonic Max. It’s said to offer a recognition area which is 17x larger than the previous generation and support for authentication of two fingers, simultaneously. Harness the power of jaw-dropping, desktop-level gaming with a full suite of brand-new Snapdragon Elite Gaming features

There are also potential improvements for the growing field of augmented reality as well as face detection security. However, most consumers probably care about taking better pictures. Google exemplifies how powerful AI photography can be and we’ll hopefully see similar capabilities in flagship powered by the Snapdragon 865.

Both the new chips bring support for 5G connectivity as standard, although the Snapdragon 865 doesn’t get an integrated 5G modem like the Snapdragon 765G. Apart from 5G, the new chips also bring improvement in AI processing, imaging capabilities, and, of course, faster performance with higher efficiency. Both the chips will reach the consumers by early 2020 through various phones across the globe.
